Mahendra Singh Dhoni broke the record for most catches by a wicket-keeper in T20 cricket.

It seems each time MS Dhoni steps out on the field these days he adds records to his names. MS Dhoni claimed his 134th catch in his 275th T20 match as he caught Reeza Hendricks. This involves his performance in internationals, Indian Premier League and other T20 matches. He surpassed Sri Lankan Legendary wicket-keeper Kumar Sangakkara (133 catches in 254 matches). Dinesh Karthik is third on the list with (123 catches in 227 matches). MS Dhoni breaks another wicketkeeping record, He is best India wicketkeeper.

The former Indian Captain also has most dismissals by a wicketkeeper in T20 Internationals with 77 in 87 matches. Dhoni has also become the fourth wicket-keeper to collect 400 dismissals in ODIs on this on South African tour as well.

Overall, Dhoni is third on the list of wicketkeepers with most catches in international cricket. kumar Sangakkara (482), Adam Gilchrist (472) and Mark Boucher (424) are ahead of Dhoni in ODIs. MS Dhoni breaks another wicketkeeping record.

Former South African wicket-keeper Mark Boucher is on No.1 position with 952 dismissals in 467 games followed by Legendary Australia’s Adam Gilchrist with 813 in 396 matches. Dhoni has 601 catches and 174 stumpings in Internationals.

Suresh Raina is all set to make comeback into the Indian T20 side for the series against South Africa starting February 18.


Indian batsman Suresh Raina is back in the Indian team and left for Johannesburg on Thursday along with Kl Rahul and Jaydev Unadkat. Team India is in a desperate need of an experienced player in the middle order in limited overs format and selectors’ punt to select Raina for South Africa tour might reap the benefits too.


The 31-year-old has played 65 T20Is and 223 ODIs but he feels like a debutant again. “Yes, I am 31 but, as they say it, age is just a number.”Feels like I have been selected in the Indian team for the first time. I have worked so hard for the last two years – when the Team India jersey before the tour this time, it was an emotional moment. I got it back after so long. “I have always played with pride and passion for India. It was important to keep my mind strong,” he added


Pakistan sensational bowler Mohammad Amir showed a warm and friendly gesture and wished the player luck. Amir made a comment on the post that read, “Good luck bro do well👍👍👍.”


The first T20 will be played on Sunday, February 18 and the second and third T20s to be played on February 21 and 24.
